Robots in Reach starts with the belief that teaching is the best way to learn. By building your own plan and guiding your mechanical learner to the objective, you discover more than how technology works – you uncover how to think and communicate more clearly.
WHO RUNS THE ROOM
Philosophy, flight school,
and twenty-five years of code.
Tyson Koska studied philosophy and flew for the Army. He has spent the twenty-five years since building software — content systems, business process modelling, workflow and operational redesign — and most recently three years engineering AI for a federal agency, holding a Top Secret clearance.
He has taught throughout. Software engineering and generative AI at Towson University as an adjunct, computer science, philosophy, and the full Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer track as a certified trainer. The subjects change, but the method doesn’t — start with a good question, make room for musing, and help people connect results to something they can use on Monday.
The thread running through all of it is less glamorous than any single part. In a cockpit, in a classified system, in a room of people training robots — the key is whether understanding meets with intention. Aviation is unforgiving about that. Machines are relentlessly literal. And most workplaces quietly absorb the cost without ever naming it.
Robots in Reach exists to make those hidden costs visible. A robot does precisely what it’s told, immediately, in front of everybody — which turns an abstract complaint about communication into a fixable problem.
