OUR STORY / BUILT TO LEARN

The future needs
hands-on people.

Robots in Reach starts with the belief that teaching is the best way to learn. By building your own lesson and guiding a new learner through it, you discover more than how technology works – you uncover how to think more clearly, communicate, and collaborate.

ENGINEERING MEETS EDUCATION

Build it.
Understand it.
Pass it on.

I founded Robots in Reach to make robotics something people can take part in.

My background spans more than 25 years in technology and workflow design, including three years as an AI engineer for a federal agency. As a former Army aviator, I also bring a practical appreciation for clear communication, sound judgment, and people working together.

Having taught both computer science and philosophy at Towson University as an adjunct professor, I bring that teaching background to the approach here: start with a good question, make room to experiment, and help people connect the result to an idea they can use.

I also run TrainedToThink, where I design practical AI workshops for leaders and teams. Both ventures share the same aim: help people understand complex technology by working with it.

Longer term, I want Robots in Reach to become a local resource for robot repair, rental, and technical support as the technology becomes useful in everyday life. The work starts now—with thoughtful pilots and a willingness to learn in public.

WHERE WE’RE HEADING

Start small.
Build real capability.

NOW / DEVELOPING

Learning experiences.

Evaluate a first platform, build educational content, and shape corporate and STEM pilots with local hosts.

NEXT / PROVE THE MODEL

Practical technical support.

Develop platform knowledge, document troubleshooting, and define support we can confidently provide.

FUTURE / THE VISION

Repair. Rental. Humanoids.

Expand into equipment services and walking humanoids as demand, expertise, and platform access allow.

Repair and rental services are future plans and are not currently available to book. Robots in Reach is an independent venture, not a Towson University program.

YOUR NEXT GREAT IDEA STARTS HERE.
